Past entries can also provide useful references for reviewing difficult deductions or revisiting puzzles from earlier days.

Choose Your Pips Difficulty
Each archived date can include all three difficulty options with different puzzle structures.
- Easy: 6 tiles with two available hints.
- Medium: 10 tiles with two available hints.
- Hard: 14 tiles with three available hints.
Reveal Archived Hints Without Spoilers
The Pips Hint Archive presents clues gradually, allowing the solving process to continue before the full answer appears.
- First hint: Provides an initial direction for the archived puzzle.
- Next hint: Offers more specific guidance when the first clue remains unclear.
- Independent solving: Apply each clue before opening another available hint.
- Controlled guidance: Stop after any hint once the next deduction becomes clear.
Check the Full Archived Answer
The complete solution provides a finished view of the selected puzzle when additional guidance is no longer enough. The full answer appears at the bottom of the Pips Hint Archive page, after all available hints. This section stays hidden until the Reveal full answer option is selected. Once opened, the completed arrangement provides a clear reference for checking difficult placements and earlier deductions. The setup keeps the solution separate from the hints, so the archive retains a gradual solving experience.
