Instead of controlling a character or exploring a map, you examine a 4×4 grid and search for relationships that can divide its 16 words into four meaningful groups. The unlimited format lets you move from one puzzle to another without waiting for the next daily challenge, making it a good choice for players who want more than one round at a time.

HOW CONNECTIONS UNLIMITED TURNS 16 WORDS INTO FOUR GROUPS

Every round in Connections Unlimited starts with 16 words. Your task is to identify four sets of four words that share a category, phrase, meaning, or another logical relationship.

• Scan the whole board: Read all 16 words before committing to a group. Some clues may appear to belong to more than one category, so the first obvious match is not always the correct one.
• Test a group: Select four words and press Submit. A correct set is removed from the board, leaving fewer clues for the remaining connections. A wrong guess uses one of your available mistakes.
• Solve the remaining groups: With fewer words visible, connections that were previously hidden can become easier to spot. Keep checking whether a suspected category accounts for exactly four words.

Tips For Solving Tricky Boards

Start with the category you can prove most confidently rather than the one that merely looks possible. Watch for words with multiple meanings, since they can act as decoys. If the arrangement is distracting, Shuffle can give you a fresh view of the same clues.

How To Play More Connections Unlimited Puzzles

Once you finish a board, you do not have to stop playing. Use the available options to choose another challenge, revisit an older puzzle, or change the way you approach the next round.

• Start another puzzle: Select Play Another or Start New Game when you want a fresh set of 16 words.
• Change the difficulty: Try Easy when you want simpler connections or switch to Hard for less obvious categories.
• Visit the archive: Browse older puzzles when you want to replay previous challenges instead of starting a new one.
• Use Reveal Answers: If you cannot find the remaining groups, reveal the solution to see how the words were connected.
• Try unlimited guesses: Enable the unlimited-guess option if you prefer experimenting with different combinations without being stopped by mistakes.
